  I had reconstructive sinus surgery early morning of 6/9/17. The Doctor had told me there would be some bleeding, drainage, packing and bandages afterward. At 2PM in the recovery room that afternoon I realized what a great job my doctor did.The bleeding, draining had stopped and I wasn't in pain at all. The only reason I had to stay over is because I use C-PAP therapy at night and they wanted to make sure I would do ok with the breathing machine. At 4PM I was given a room and a menu and told I could order anything I wanted. I just had surgery and now feeling like I'm on a small vacation until it was time to go to bed. I asked the nurse repeatedly when they were going to bring the C-PAP therapy so I could get to sleep. As each hour went by they said they couldn't locate him. 8-9-10-11 went by and approximately 11:30 that night a man came rushing in the room dragging the equipment by the cord, hooked it up and then slammed the mask against my face and nose and held it there while he tried to stretch the band on the back of my head! The pain was so unbearable I thought I was going to pass out. Then my nose starting bleeding and this fool said let's try it again. I told him to get out. An hour later this idiot came back and I called the nurse. There was no way I could close my eyes and sleep that night thinking he would show up again. This turned into a HORRIBLE experience. A CPAP mask won't touch your nose even if you hold it there and push on it. This tells you the force and recklessness this idiot used when he came in. It's 11/13/17 today, and this happened 6/9/17. I wanted to make sure I didn't have to go back anytime soon before I told of my experience.

  This hospital needs to be shut down or change administration. This is the fourth time a family member and myself comes to give birth and they leave you in “triage” for over 6 hours where they basically put you in a monitor and IV,, and leave you with the excuse that there are no rooms available for you to give birth in. The nurses in “triage” don’t want to be bother with questions and just say to wait for your doctor. Which are never around. If your hospital can’t take the demand STOP being greedy $$$ and admitting patients that you know you don’t have the space for. And also train your employees to have customer service skills. I can’t wait for another hospital to open up near me, so that I won’t have to step foot in that place. WARNING! If you are expecting please save the pain and the bad experience. As a MOTHER I tell you the experience won’t be a nice one. Same thing has happened with way too many people in my family and everyone that I ask tells me the same thing. This hospital is just taking advantage that there aren’t many options available in the DMV But do your research and find a place where they’ll treat you as a human being.
